Castello di Brolio created from a meticulous selection of estate-grown grapes from the three most representative soils in Brolio: Macigno del Chianti (sandstone), Scaglia Toscana (Galestro), Monte Morello (Alberese).

Harvest: Sangiovese was harvested from mid-September to mid-October and Abrusco grapes were picked on early October
Ageing: 18 months in tonneaux (30% new) 
Bottling: 14/12/2018 – 1/02/2019
Alcohol: 14%

Tasting notes

Ruby red color with slight garnet hues. Red fruits on the nose, violet floral hints and light toasted scents. Soft at first taste, then large and voluminous. The balanced acidity and tannin give this grand vin a considerably persistent and harmonious finish.
