Castello di Brolio is our flagship wine created from a meticulous selection of estate-grown grapes from the five most representative soils in Brolio. Each cuvée is vinified separately in order to preserve the distinctive elements of each grape variety. Produced only in the best years, this is an iconic wine which will leave a lasting impression. Luxurious, with its own personality; its most salient features are the concentration and tannic structure. Castello di Brolio created from a meticulous selection of estate-grown grapes from the three most representative soils in Brolio: Macigno del Chianti (sandstone), Scaglia Toscana (Galestro), Monte Morello (Alberese).
Harvest: The grapes were harvested by hand Ageing: 18 months in tonneaux (30% new) Tasting notes: Intense ruby red color. A Chianti Classico of extraordinary elegance, wide and enveloping. Hints of vanilla are blended with intense spicy fruity and mineral aromas.
