RONCICONE Chianti Classico Gran Selezione

Distinctive traits: floral freshness, spicy notes, elegant acidity

Roncicone is located on a Marine Deposits geological formation. The vineyard is about 10 hectares in size, located at 320 meters above sea level and with a south-eastern aspect. Grapes are handpicked and then selected: only perfect clusters become Roncicone.

Harvest: Harvesting and selection of the best grapes in the vineyard by hand on September 8, 2020.
Ageing: 22 months in 500-litre tonneaux of which 30% new and 70% second passage.
Bottling: December 19, 2022.
Alcohol: 12,50 % vol.

Tasting notes

Complex nose, red fruit and balsamic notes. In the mouth, elegant, velvety and pleasant. Fresh and mineral wine. Long finish.
